After them I tossed the vaccum dial ones I had in the trash When you do it make sure to set them after you do the valves and with a warm engine at idle.Closed circuit (between The 2 red circles) when the contacts are open i don't have a open circuit. There should be an open circuit between these to circles when the points are open, right. On the other pair of contact points i do have a open circuit when the points are open. What i also found is that the right cilinder is not getting as hot as the left one. When i start the bike, after 10 sec the left exhaust is so hot i can't touch it, but the right exhaust is still a lot colder, and when i pull the right spark plug off the bike it stays running, but when i pull the left spark plug off the engine stops running. Like the right cilinder is a lot less powerfull then the left one. Could this have anything to do with the contact points. One more question, should i open a new thread for this, cause this has notting to do with a workshop manual, right. There has been debate about which grade gas to use. I found it interesting that the manual recommends regular. Not that much of a surprise as the compression ratio isn't really that high.
