Now, I don't stop until the primers are done. This save a lot of time. Very happy with the quality and construction.Never spent the money on the Dillon case feeder. With the loader bowl it’s very quick and easy to load up. Definitely works perfectly and has made my loading quicker. I’m getting 138.40 cases at a time. Will be ordering a couple extra’s soon. Definitely worth it. No electric motor noise and won’t wear out like electric motors. Highly recommended for progressive reloading. It does function very well after some modifications to ensure proper fitment. I had to file my factory 9mm feeder tube adapter that came with my Dillon XL750 press. I was not very happy about that due to it being a piece that came with my press. I had. If you are looking for a case feeder I would not hesitate to purchase this. I tend to load in batches of 100 or 200. The feeder works as advertised. I had to sand inside of the support ring a bit to fit the adapter tube but that was easy. Takes about 10. It works great without having to buy an automatic case loader for which I do not have the room for. I also use a lee quad rotating case loader with collator It would be nice to see DAA team develop this with a shaker collator on top I prefer over. I was so pleased after the first use, I immediately bought another feeder. During the loading session, when i’m using the one. Simple design, no motors, no noise, very economical alternative to motorized case feeder.https://tallteknologier.se/userfiles/bravo-ii-autoprinter-manual(2).xml

I want a spare set of tubes! I fill the tubes when waching TV:-) Will order a spare tube soon. While not want a full size case feeder, I needed something to improve my process for loading 9mm. Enter the mini XL650 vase feeder, allowing me to have 150 cases pre-loaded and ready to go. Then I wondered could this product do even. Each time a tube empties out, click the next one into position and continue reloading. If too tight, it may be difficult to remove to clear jams. If too loose, the assembly may wobble or cant a little. There is a slight variance between the various Dillon Casefeed Adaptor tubes, so some light fitting may be needed for a fit perfect to your needs. You can use a file, sandpaper or dremmel to slightly increase the inner dimension of the Support-Ring part. I usually load 100 rounds at a time because the primer tube on my Dillon 650 XL only holds 100 primers. This save a lot of time. Very happy with the quality and construction. Initial test with my setup resulted in 9mm cases hanging up at the case feeder arm. Light removal of material (Dremel and fine sandpaper) on green plastic case feeder arm bushing plus slight adjustment of arm set screw solved the problem. Excellent products and service. Thank you! Never spent the money on the Dillon case feeder. Definitely worth it if you don’t need, can’t afford or have the space for the Dillon case feeder. No electric motor noise and won’t wear out like electric motors. I was not very happy about that due to it being a piece that came with my press. I had hoped that the product I purchased would fit without any sort of modifications to my press. After the modifications were made, the black piece had fit pretty tight and when I had to remove it to clear up a jam in the brass feed, i noticed a small crack in the black plastic piece.http://www.ludifrance.fr/userfiles/bravo-ii-autoprinter-manual.xml If you order this product, I would recommend getting some extra adapters for the bottom of this case feeder in the event that you may have to replace it mid loading due to it possibly breaking. Other than that, it does its job and it is cheaper than buying an electric one from Dillon. If you are looking for a case feeder I would not hesitate to purchase this. So simple and I can’t believe it’s at this price point!!! I tend to load in batches of 100 or 200. Takes about 10 minutes to load a tube with 100 cases. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Mini Case Feeder and the extra Tube Assembly. If I really want a high output reloading session, I can fill both up with 150 cases a piece and go to town. I don't regret not spending the money on Dillon's Case Feeder at all. I would like to see a collator of some sort. I know they are not perfect, but there are hacks out there that work 99 of the time and I can handle the 1. Just sayin'. It works great without having to buy an automatic case loader for which I do not have the room for. I also use a lee quad rotating case loader with collator It would be nice to see DAA team develop this with a shaker collator on top I prefer over filling the tubes any day.A must have for us automated people. I have the Dillon automatic case feeder on my 650XL it's just so noisy. I picked up a few to keep each caliber set up complete.I wasn’t expecting it to work as well as it did to tell you the truth. I was so pleased after the first use, I immediately bought another feeder. During the loading session, when i’m using the one feeder, I have my son filling the other. You can load 500 rounds in no time. I did have to sand down the adapter a bit to get it to fit onto my press, but besides that, the installation was simple. I am pleased with DAA products, and I would recommend them to anyone with a Dillon loading machine. Simple design, no motors, no noise, very economical alternative to motorized case feeder.http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/71990 Then I wondered could this product do even more then it's initial design. Great job in designing an excellent and modifiable product to meet varying needs of reloader's everywhere. Thank you for your support. In the end, I bought this case feeder and I am very happy with its performance. I installed the case feeder, by myself, in under one hour - and that includes the time I spent re-reading the instructions and looking for a part. I did this so I could learn everything about how the system works. Valuable information. The pieces are cast aluminum. So guess what, some of the pieces were not 100 clean. No problem, I used a couple of files and some steel wool and they cleaned up in 2 minutes. Two sections were out of order and one piece that was originally plastic is now aluminum. I wasted 5 minutes searching for a plastic part that does not exist. Oh well. Finally, when it was up and running, I found the final drop cone (the part that places the case on the shelf) likes to wobble. This was easily solved with a piece of electrical tape to ensure that cases drop dead center each time. Again, big whoop. As far as timing goes, yes, you have to ensure that you spend some time getting the bits to work together just right. I still did that in the under 1 hour time frame mentioned above. If I can do it, then you cane too. Don't fall for the negative hype. This thing works and works well. It will save you time and money! But its pretty much a endless string if fiddling and adjustments. Save your money. I would not buy again at any price. It seems like it would be straight forward but not so. Does not even come with all the plates. Seriously Hornady! Really! UGH! Buck 5.0 out of 5 stars At first, I did have a bit of difficulty, but after working with it and gaining a bit of experience I find that the Case Loader operates very well with all of my cases. But, I consider that to me a minor issue. Perhaps Hornady will resolve that issue in the future. Also, I notice that Hornady included a Case Feeder Tip Stop (listed as part number 77 on the manual) which may not have been on older models. This helps to stabilize the case when it drops onto the slide in front of the V-block. The Case Feeder is well built, and very sturdy. Please try again later. But its pretty much a endless string if fiddling and adjustments. Once you do get it dialed in, it will work great until something else goes wrong 10 minutes later. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Hornady getting parts and help, but in the past few months their customer service has gone down the drains. Realistically, I've loaded about 125,000 rounds with this machine, 75k of them have been with the case feeder. With my particular unit, the rod that guides the case feeder block on the EZ-ject plate was not threaded high enough for some calibers. None of the V-blocks match up with the diameters they list in the manual, so it's a crap-shoot as to what does what. It will most likely work okay for pistol calibers, I had an awful time with.223 and never got it running right. The bushing that's around the rod that actuates the drop for the feeder tube constantly comes out of it's hole, and the top of the rod has worn a groove into the cheap pot-metal actuator so it gets stuck every few rounds. The stop switch will most likely not work right for smaller caliber like.223 and 9mm. One internet fix is to bend the wire. That's great, until 200 rounds later it bends back to where it originally was and the collator does not stop. Speaking of collator, the motor is incredibly noisy. I never thought much of it until I tried other ones. It's originally what pushed me to buy the Hornady. There's a lot I liked about the press, and a lot I hated. In the past few months, it's gotten to the point where the machine is causing me too much frustration. It's not for lack of maintenance, every month I tear the press down, clean it, grease it, fix what needs to be fixed. Every two months or so I have to replace a drive hub as the machine will just stop indexing correctly. You may buy it, and I can almost guarantee it will work great for you once you get it set up. Once you get a decent amount of rounds through it (25-50k) it will start to show weaknesses. After that, it's all downhill. Unfortunately, the used market is not too good for these presses. I will be keeping the powder measure though, that blows the Dillon one out of the water. Please try again later. DavidW 1.0 out of 5 stars No problem there. Spent the next 3 hours trying to make adjustments in order to get the unit to function properly. Finally at the end i was running at about 90 reliability. The next day i used it, it worked ok for the first 5 minutes, and then started to not drop consistently yet again. After about 2 hours of frustration i pulled the plug and uninstalled the unit. Places the unit jams. If the bowl is over filled (More than 200 cases), the plate will not rotate. Occasionally a case will be set to drop, but has another pinched ontop of it causing it to half drop and jam. Occasionally cases will drop down the tube sideways and the unit will continue to spin until you get showered with cases. Cases got stuck A LOT between the tube they drop from on top and the plate that indexes to drop them. When jammed here it prevents the one below it from dropping. Collar in the middle piece (the one that drops the case) gets pinched and binds up causing cases to get stuck. Cases get stuck in the final drop tube, 80 of the time i have to tap the tube to get them to actually drop. I really liked the idea of this unit. Just sit there and pull the handle. Couldn't get easier, or so i thought. Nothing but frustration here, would have been far easier just to hand load the press like i have been and have gone back to.Please try again later. lliwcl 3.0 out of 5 stars Highly disappointed that they used low quality metal. 2. Although I have plenty of tools, it would be nice to include an Allen wrench if you use Allen bolts. For the price you pay it seems to make sense. 3. Getting the correct adjustments for proper brass feeding is a bit tricky. 4. My biggest complaint is I had to drill bigger holes through the bracket that is placed under the press because the bolt holes are a different size than the ones used on my press. Additionally, I had to cut a notch in my table to accommodate the bracket. Otherwise, I would have needed to re drill holes for the press. If you have a platform then you shouldn't have a problem. Overall, it works well and I would be recommend it.Please try again later. SWG - Columbus, Ohio 5.0 out of 5 stars This is probably the best addition to the AP press I purchased. I wasn't keen on this idea when I bought the press originally, but after some thought and consideration I thought I would give it a try and I am pretty happy with it. This unit does take some setup time and you need to carefully read the instructions as assembling and setting up. I also recommend the YouTube videos to visualize the setup process - which the Hornady videos do differ from the instructions - but still very helpful. Once you get it tweaked, it works well. There are a few small issues that I would also point out. This thing isn't 'perfect' in every way. As each case is not perfect in weight as they drop, some cases do fall off of the plate, some do get out of alignment with the shuttle, some don't drop. Some minor adjustments and you get about a 95 success rate with case drops. I think that is pretty good for a non-commercial unit. I have found some video tips on how to improve these issues, which I plan to implement upon purchasing some inexpensive supplies that were recommended. One recommendation was to create some 'bumpers' on each side of the drop plate to keep cases aligned perfectly and keep them from falling off of the plate. One other piece of advice. Choose your mounting location for the press carefully when adding on this unit. I put my press in what I thought was a great spot on my bench. I have a few cabinets overhead on the wall of my bench. Those cannot be accessed when this unit is mounted. The good news is that the hopper slides off very easily so you can change plates and so I can access my cabinets. I do plan on resetting my press in the near future so the door and hopper isn't in conflict. Overall - I recommend this addition to your AP press. This unit allows you to focus on ensuring a powder charge is good (or watching your powder cop) and keeping an eye on other things. It keeps your hands free for keeping everything running smoothly. Please try again later. Feedback 5.0 out of 5 stars Had to relocated my press a bit more forward to accommodate the guide wire installation. Overall an easy install and setup. I setup for 9mm cases. After initial tweeking, I still need to work with the case feeding at the top of the case feed tube to correct the frequency of upside down cases. Just have not had the time to address the issue. Overall it seems to work extremely well and the reload speed increase is awesome to say the least. Please try again later. NATHAN CASTLEMAN 5.0 out of 5 stars The enginerring is good.
