Buy a good framing gun that can be rebuilt, spend the cash and it will last you a long time. I have the Bostitch finish, Brad and a Porter Pin and they all work just fine. I keep them in their cases and I NEVER let anyone else touch them. I've never had a jam on the finish. The key here is don't let anyone else touch them, use it and put them back in the case. This means the nails I bought didn't work in the Bostich nail gun, and I couldn't find any 25-degree nails at any of 3 local Home Depots, a huge Ace Hardware, or at Lowes. For all I know, the Bostich design is technically superior, but I don't care. If I buy a nailer, I want to be able to buy nails for it. So basically the fact that mainstream hardware sellers like Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware don't stock nails that work in a Bostich nailer is all the proof I need that I bought the wrong brand. It's nice that I can return the Bostich nailer, but I would have preferred to know in advance that nails for it are almost impossible to find. Take my advice and don't buy Bostich products..I have been using it for over one year and have driven thousands of nails through it. Not ever did I have a nail jamb or misfire. Never a problem of any kind. This is a wonderful nail gun; much better than I had expected. Next time I need a nail gun of any size, I will look at Bostitch first.I've put a couple of hundred Bostitch nails through this nailer and have not had any jams. Pay particular attention to the pressure, as it will throw a nail too deep into your trim or whatever you use it for. Properly adjusted and tested on scrap wood, you will get nail after nail exactly as you want it.http://asomarecuador.com/images/bostitch-n16-nailer-manual.pdf I cannot opine on longevity, but Bostitch has a great reputation.Other than that it is the only regret on this purchase.I went shopping on Amazon for a replacement, since the repair shop said it would be 2-3 weeks before I would get it back. 2 days later, UPS delivered this new gun to my door. Amazing!! Great gun at a very fair price. I now have two trim guns, but a new best friend. The unit is very reliable and performs exceptionally well. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality finishing nailer.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Particularly compared to the Dewalt model. I was about to get the Dewalt, but I saw the Bostitch have a 7 years warranty compare for only 1 year warranty for the Dewalt. This shows how the company have trust in its product. At the end, this was the selling point for me. I have been using it now for a couple of years and it never failed me. I must have nailed many thousands of nails with it and it is always working without any flaws.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again No issues, so I think I'll stick with a product that works!Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Drove the nail home every time and never a jam. Also used it to trim out my new windows and again, worked flawlessly. I would recommend it to anyone. My only caveat: I am an experienced DIYer, not a pro, so although this feels like a very robust tool to me, I can't comment on using it to earn a buck on a daily basis.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. And a light And pencil sharpener.I will use this very often.http://europeanprofservices.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/16273d281042d3---brk-83r-smoke-detector-manual.pdf I have 8 different Bostitch nail guns, and it's all I will use.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I used this to secure mdf door casing on the inner and outter edges without issue. It is probably a little overkill for the thin inner edge of casing but it didn't cause any damage. I would buy again. My only initial concern was that all packaging says N62FNK-2 but the manual and nailer say N62FNB. After a lot of searching on the Bostitch website I confirmed these are the same. FNB after a certain date were rebranded FNK-2.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again I do have other brands such as Makita and Dewalt which are very decent nailers but honestly Bostitch is on a different level when it comes to nailers.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.
