Remove the filter, which is a wire gauze and fabric type and wash in gasoline. Ensure the filter is dry before replacing it. B25, C25 AND B44 MODELS The air cleaner on these models is the pill-box type and screws directly onto the carburetor air intake. After unscrewing the filter can be dismantled for cleaning, by unscrewing the bolt holding the perforated outer cover together. The element is made of surgical gauze and should be washed thoroughly in gasoline and allowed to dry before replacement. If the element appears unserviceable, it should be renewed. B50 MODELS The 500cc models are fitted with a paper element type filter located behind the panel on the left-hand side of the machine. The element is retained by a single center nut and washer and after removal, can be cleaned with a stiff brush or, if available, an air line. Do NOT wash in gasoline or detergent. To maintain the engine at peak performance the element should be renewed every 5000 miles. It is connected in parallel with the points and if a fault develops the ignition system will not function correctly. If the engine is difficult to start or misfiring occurs, it is possible that the condenser has failed. To check, separate the contact breaker points by hand while the ignition is switched on.http://bikidi.com/UpFiles/WebEditorFiles/canon-e05-rebel-k2-manual.xml

Stephen Reis 4.0 out of 5 stars I bought this book to work on a 71 Triumph 250 Trail Blazer which is essentially the same bike. It is hard to find a manual for these bikes that contain more detail than the factory manuals. The only thing that disappointed me was they used a brown comic book type paper instead the stiffer smooth white paper. The brown paper doesn't allow you to see the detail in the photos as well as the white paper.https://www.cocreationsmanager.com/blog/faa-part-145-repair-station-manual It is still worth buying it though.Purchase the Rupert’s manuals instead. He's read it multiple times and always finds a new fact or detail he missed. Get used to it.This book was bought as a bit of a nostalgia trip as getting the real thing now isn't very easy, even if I actually wanted one. Other reviews mention the paper and print. Yes, it isn't quality paper and is off white - hence four stars not five. But the actual content is excellent and exploded views just what I wanted.
