I should have just purchased the Motorola's to start with. The quality of the Motorola's is great, far better than the Cobra's. Both radios work great and have the features I need. I used them in the Mall today and didn't have any problems. Even when my wife was at the other end of the mall in a store, I could still get a signal, it was degraded a bit, but still understandable. I recommend these radios for family communication.We bought ours in April, put batteries in, picked a channel for each radio, and have not had one problem. Whether the kids are at the park, going to the corner store or playing with friends in the neighborhood, we know they are ok. If you smell exhaust fumes inside your vehicle, have your dealer inspect your vehicle immediately. Do not drive if you smell exhaust fumes. Noise from the ABS pump motor and brake pedal pulsation may be observed during ABS braking and the brake pedal may suddenly travel a little farther as soon as ABS braking is done and normal brake operation resumes. These are normal characteristics of the ABS and should be no reason for concern. Always set the parking brake fully and make sure that the gearshift is securely latched in P (Park). The parking brake is not recommended to stop a moving vehicle. The system is a driver aid which makes your vehicle easier to handle primarily on snow and ice covered roads. During Traction Control operation the engine will not “rev-up”. Locate the screw which attaches this cover and remove using a screwdriver. Remove the cover by tilting forward while pulling up and out of the gearshift assembly. The gear changes can be felt by the driver.
