To sew forward, release the reverse sewing lever. You can use the same color or two different colors of thread for decorative stitches. Puede usar el mismo color de hilo o dos hilos de colores distintos para puntadas decorativas. It may need to be adjusted when you change fabric or thread type. For most sewing applications, no adjustment is needed. When sewing with thin thread on thin fabrics, the thread tension may not be adjusted adequately with the upper tension control dial. Each is explained below. REMARQUE: Il est impossible de retirer le crochet de la navette l’aiguille est abaissee. Lower (bobbin) thread is tangled. Needle is incorrectly inserted. Re-thread the machine following the instructions in your manual and ensure that the foot is raised. If there is tension when pulling the thread, then the thread may be unsuitable for machine sewing and should be replaced with machine sewing thread from a reputable brand. It’s possible there be a timing issue with your machine. Contact your Brother dealer to arrange a service or contact our customer service team. Make sure the presser foot is lifted before threading the machine. Set your bobbin correctly into the machine. For top loading bobbins, the thread needs to be going around the bobbin in an anti-clockwise direction. Use the guides on your machine or refer to your instruction manual. If you have a mechanical machine, check that the foot is lowered before sewing. Computerised machines will remind you to do this. Using thread that does not pull through smoothly can cause thread breakages, poor stitching or damage to your machine. For best results, you should use a good quality, branded thread. The thread should pull through the machine with no tightness. Touch device users, explore by touch or with swipe gestures. ( ???) 5.0 out of 5 stars Im sure there are bad units once in a while but i have been using the very same one I got in 2011. It still works perfectly. If mine broke i would get another.I've maintained it as directed in the manual. It became jambed with one label that had one edge peel back to reveal the sticky side.http://seasailing.us/node/2926 There was NO way to clear it from the rollers. They do no come out of the machine. We worked on trying to clear this and then to take it apart. Took every screw out and still would not separate to reach rollers. Now it's in the garbage. I'm not a heavy user of this unit so it has never been heavily used. Heading out to buy a Dymo like we have where I work. That is a cheaper unit and has made thousands of labels without ever jambing or failing.Installed it, plugged it in, turned it on.communication error. This went on for hours. I was finally able to get a label printed around midnight. I went To bed soooo happy. Wth is that? Spent an hour trying to figure that out. Decided it's not worth my aggravation, packed it up to return. I'm using Windows 10.Setup couldn't be easier, plugged it in and windows found it and installed what was needed to run it. The software, however is another story, if I could have rated it by itself I would give it three stars as it leaves a lot to be desired, like choosing a label based on its item number rather than trying to figure out the size, and its clunky saving, saying that it can't when it does. All-in-all, I would highly recommend the printer.Go to brother website and troubleshoot from there.the website made it super fast and easy. You will NEED the Ptouch software to print properly so save yourself some time and just start there and add all info into it rather than trying to print from other sources like word, excel etc (as advertised). Not a huge deal with shortcut keys these days. With that written, I can now write about what I love about this thing, once I figured out the software. The labels have enhanced my personal and professional life as well as played a role in local health promotion. I use this machine for file folders, name tags, Instagram promo stickers, closet organization, shipping labels, customer info tags and craft projects.https://estacionsurmadrid.avanzagrupo.com/images/canon-eos-rebel-k2-manual-free.pdfoptions are endless Star removed due to outdated CD and instruction manual-took way too long to figure out it was worthless. The first one I bought worked for several months then died. I replaced it with the same model and within 2 weeks it started sounding like it was crushing gravel and the stickers would get stuck and roll back into the machine which makes it almost impossible to fix because the roller doesn't come out. Once that happened the labels wouldn't print correctly. Heading into the holiday season, I decided to send it back and have it replaced. This one lasted 2 days before it started the same process. I am going to return this one as well and move onto another machine. I am not impressed with this printer at all.The picture should not be of the lid when it is up, but when it's down. I didn't know what I was looking at until after the fact. It literal snapped right off with no effort as I was trying to remove the protective covering from the ql 500 which was difficult to do and yes I had the lever pulled the right way. Because of the poor design and the cheap plastic used, the piece that go cut off went inside the printer to a place that requires you to literally take the whole device apart to remove or to take a part the glue used to hold it together. In my life, I have never seen such oversight over something this expensive. For that I am going to write a complaint and demand a refund. Now: We got a replacement and it works just fine. Can't get the bottom bobbin thingy in too well though. Have managed and then tried to 'practice' sew a piece of material but can't get the tension right, looks okay on one side but full of loops etc on the other - is it trial and error or what. Would love to be able to use it properly but can't - need advice and some encouragement!! Haven't used a sewing machine since grammar school - help!! First, as already said, check you have the bobbin inserted the right way round and that the thread on the bobbin (did you wind it yourself?) is reasonably well tensioned. Sometimes when I'm not concentrating mine go all slack and sloppy. The bobbin underneath is a bit more complicated if that's the problem. The metal open case thing you drop the (usually) plastic bobbin in will have a tiny screw on its side that you can turn to 'tension' the thread coming out of the bobbin. I readily confess that's beyond my ability to tweak. The other things are: Are your feed dogs engaged. Some machines allow you to disengage them, and, is your foot pressure right. There'll be a good explanation! HTH. I lifted the foot up and it helped a little but is there some method if you have to sew thick stuff together? I was converting old denim jeans into something else. Get in touch with us. The delivery and installation were wonderfull too. However, as we had used the old model with great filter. The magic filter on this new machine is not magic at all, its function is poor. The clothes are full of fine dust after washing while the filter only catch a little bit of dust. Just wonder if it can be replaced with the filter that was used for the old model, or some new design that works better, it will be great. We had the old one for about 3 years then got this one. At first I thought it was fine. Then 3months in and here we are having problems with it. It came up with an Ae6 error code. Samsung sent out a technician to fix and replace the mother board. First load of laundry after fixing it then same problem.Ae6 error code AGAIN. Samsung usually gets a lot of good feedback but I am done with any of their products now. We have owned a Samsung camera which lasted only a couple of years then crapped out. We have a Samsung TV which blew the mother board, my brother had a 2year old Samsung TV which burnt a hole in the screen, now this. Sorry Samsung but you have lost my trust:-( It's never missed a beat, washes well and has handled everything our family of 5 can throw at it. I would like a shorter cycle, and as with all top loaders, sometimes the clothes are tangled at the end of the wash, but honestly can't fault it. It's had no maintenance, very neglected and overworked, and still going strong while looking very modern.:-) I like the tune it plays at the end and I sing along with it haha. Every wash has been great and the blanket cycle has been very handy. I kinda wish it had a reminder function for cleaning the filter, and the manual says it is meant to alert me when it is time to wash the tub however I've never noticed this (perhaps not an option with this one or I was oblivious). Despite those small things I've been very happy with this washing machine and have recommended it to others.
