Further contact with Brother proved fruitless. It was changed AGAIN and worked for a few days. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience.The last three have been problematic with the same problem occurring - a white vertical line down the pages of faxes sent and on copies made. Cleaning the machine per the manual does not fix the problem. We have also wasted money replacing the drum unit often (when likely we did not have to) to try to fix the problem. The problem appears to be with the scanner glass and the way the machine is designed it is difficult to clean the scanner glass. We have had this problem repeatedly with 3 machines over the last few years. Latest machine was purchased and having same problem when only 4 months in was the last straw since we cannot fix the problem. Other than that this is (was) a great machine.You would think that Brother would make it clear that this particular machine is not compatible with Mac Catalina 10.15.
