This will help maintain the coffee ’ s optimal temperature when brewed into the cups. Or for pr oducing a larger extraction for a mug of cof fee always use the 2 cup filter and only extract 60ml. It is important to use the correct amount of coffee for each F ilter as the filter perforations have been constructed to utilise the pressure in the machine to extract optimal flavour with each brewing. (Refer to The Grind on P age 21).The ground coffee expands and when greater pressure is built up, the brewed coffee is extracted with its full flavour. T o empty the used coffee grounds, turn the filter holder upside down in a bin and gently tap out the coffee (used cof fee grounds should be thro wn away with domestic waste and not down the sink which may block drains). Remov e the Filter by using using the indents on the side of the F ilter Holder.http://ahkkpcm.org/userfiles/brother-fax-370-manual.xml Rinse the Filter and F ilter Holder with water and allow to dry. The 800 Class Espresso Machine comes complete with a Commercial S wivel Steam Wand and Stainless S teel F rothing Attachment. When using the F rothing Attachment a large amount of froth is easily created. If less froth is requir ed, remove the F rothing Attachment and steam the milk using the Steam W and. T o remove the F rothing Attachment, ensure it is cool then simply pull down and remov e. The F rothing Attachment can be stored in the Storage T ray inside the machine if not used regularly. T o refit the Frothing Attachment ensure it is securely attached to the S team W and by inserting it, from either end opening, onto the W and and pushing firmly upwards onto the rubber surround.Instead this water is automatically released internally into the D rip T ray ensuring that the internal thermostat is at optimal temperature for extracting cof fee. Y our cof fee will always be extracted at this optimal temperature ensuring only the best flavoured cof fee is achieved. NO TE: Always ensure that the F rothing Attachment has been firmly pushed onto the Steam W and and connects with the rubber surround. F or best results use cold fr esh milk (low fat milk will froth easier) Always clean the Steam Wand and F rothing Attachment after every use. Refer to Car e and Cleaning on P age 20.This is the normal operation of the 15 Bar pump. This will avoid the steam pressur e blowing milk out of the jug. NO TE: The 800ES features a S wivel Steam Wand assembly so the position of the Steam W and can be changed to a comfortable angle. The hot water is dispensed from the S team W and. T o use the Hot W ater function, remove the F rothing Attachment from the Steam W and. The Hot W ater button surround will illuminate when selected. Place a jug or cup underneath the Steam W and to collect the hot water). Limit the extraction of hot water to 2 litres each use. The machine is not designed to make whole pots of coffee and tea.http://superbia.lgbt/flotaganis/1647627670 The more the amount of water is extracted the cooler it becomes. 20 COFFEE MAKING TIPS USING THE HOT WATER FUNCTION Making a good cup of coffee is an art that is simple to achieve. Her e are some tips to help you make the perfect coffee. THE COFFEE Pr e-ground coffee can be used and should be stored in an air -tight container, in a cool, dry area. P re-ground cof fee should not be kept for longer than 1 week as flavour will diminish. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Whole coffee beans, freshly gr ound just before use, are recommended. Cof fee beans should be stored in an air -tight container, in a cool, dry area but should not be kept for longer than 1 month as flavour will diminish. W A TER FLO W When brewing coffee, make sure the water flo ws through the Coffee F ilter at the correct rate. If the water flow is too slow the cof fee will be over extracted and will be very dar k and bitter, with a mottled and uneven crema on top. The water flow can be adjusted by varying the pressure that the cof fee is tamped (pressed down) in the F ilter or by changing the grind of the coffee. If grinding coffee beans, the grind should be fine but not too fine or powdery. The grind will effect the rate at which the water flows thr ough the coffee in the F ilter and therefore the taste of the coffee. If the grind is too fine (looks like powder and feels like flour when rubbed between fingers), the water will not flow through the cof fee even when under pressure. The resulting coffee will be over extracted, too dark and bitter, with a mottled and uneven crema on top. If the grind is too coarse the water will flow through the coffee too quickly. This will result in an under -extracted coffee lacking in flavour and without the thick crema on the top layer of coffee.https://elsenorcafe.com/images/bresser-nautic-manual.pdf COFFEE MAKING TIPS NO TE: T o enjoy an optimum flavour ed espresso cof fee, do not extract more than appro ximately 30ml (using the 1 cup filter holder) or for a double espresso do not extract more than 60ml (using a 2 cup filter holder). The ground cof fee should be tamped quite firmly. If the coffee is not tamped firmly enough, the water will flow through the water too quickly and the coffee will be under extracted. If the coffee is tamped too firmly, however, the water will flow through the cof fee too slowly and the coffee will be o ver extracted. 22 COFFEE MAKING TIPS NO TE: The taste of your cof fee will, of course, depend on personal prefer ence and on many other factors such as the type of cof fee bean used, the coarseness or fineness of the grind and the tamping pressur e (pressed do wn). W e recommend experimenting by varying these factors to achieve the cof fee taste of your prefer ence. Replace the tip back onto the Steam Wand and secur e with the Cleaning T ool.If the steam wand continues to be blocked, remov e the tip of the steam wand using the spanner in the middle of the cleaning tool. Its the only issue with the machine, the pour is too fast for most pre ground coffee from the supermarket and because the machine does not have a grinder, you cant control this. Charles Melbourne 23 reviews 24 likes So I bought a second hand one, turned it on and had coffee as good as it gets from a kitchen top machine. Very happy to have found a replacement but saddened by thought that Breville can't seem to produce an honest no frills manual machine that actually creates decent crema. Gauges, flashing lights, built in grinders and extra knobs do nothing but help sell machines. Read more in stores, each bell or whistle added is just something else to either go wrong or get in the way of the purpose of the machine. There are a few minor defects in the way the water runs off into the tray (occasionally missing the tray and leaking onto the bench), as well as corrosion in the metal frame towards the back. Runs fine except my brew is slow and the head of foam is thin. I ran cleaning solution through it twice but no difference. Coffee still tastes weak. My grinder is variable and I thought I had it dialed in as to the grind but more and more I need a coarser grind. The machine has always had one side of the basket brew through faster than the other side but the coffee was tasted fine. Now not so much. Do I need to have it professionally cleaned by the company. It also recently started leaking a bit underneath. Thanks! Like Share More 2 answers Charles 2 years ago Hello Jessica, my own machine started to show similar symptoms a year or two before it finally failed, I suspect they are a consequence of the machine's age. However there are some things you can do to remedy them. The basket is actually in two pieces and grinds can become trapped in the gap between slowing the machine down and disturbing the foam production. You can then clean up the mess inside and replace by simply pushing it back in by hand. Examine the rubber ring that seals the hand piece against the head, coffee grounds stuck here will ruin the seal, reducing pressure and causing leaks, a simple wipe may fix it. The main water screen under this ring can become blocked as well, wipe hard and run the machine with no basket for a moment to ensure it is unblocked. My machine always needed very finely ground coffee to produce good crema it may be that, the coarser grind you are using is contributing to the 'thin foam. Like Report Jessica A 2 years ago Thanks for the response. We opened up the back tonight and part of the pump has broken which was causing the water to leak all over and the lack of pressure.
