Thanks, Elliot I did it by the latter as you can then bring together different parts and clauses that cross over each other but are not necessarily in the same place the way the standard is written e.g. 3.5 is all about supplier control but 5.4.1 and 5.4.3 is about purchase of packaging so it is worth rolling the prose about that into the same procedure. There are other examples too and a good way to start is dump it all into a spreadsheet and then go through it assigning each clause to the procedure it fits best (by title) then start writing them up to bring it all together. It is time consuming but I like spreadsheets for this sort of thing and it will also work as a gap analysis to make sure you cover it all and is further adaptable to make into an index and audit template too. I would not advise referring to specific clauses by number as the next time the standard is updated it will likely throw them all out of sequence and you will have to revise everything. This procedure does tend to automatically generate a close match for numbering style of course as per previous post. Other people just like to be creative. It helps simplify the thinking process of the auditors who are accustomed to the structure of the Standard therefore less clarifications needed from me. I have laid the manual out as per the standard, but also include the other things which are necessary for the efficient running of the business, the idea is that we communicate to everyone that Quality is everybody's responsibility. I have decided that this year it will no longer be referred to as the 'BRC Manual ' but as the Quality and Food Safety Manual, so that it is not perceived as a 'project' each year, but that it is subsumed into the day to day running of the production process. I haven't listed the criteria by clause but tried to use some of the words from the Standard in the text.Defiantly do not use the BRC structure. This has caused a lot of trouble when changes were made from Issue 4 to Issue 5 as the new chapter 1 Management Decision was included. You 'll never know what issue 7 will bring. A lot of companies had to re-write their manual. I have implemented many FSMS and always used the structure of the ISO 9001:2008. It is proven and works. You can than tweak it to BRC. One last thing. Each time we rearranged our documentation to follow the new standard. Not a minor undertaking. Within a week after our SQF 7 audit, we had a surprise visitfrom another customer that had their own standard. Spent a good amount of timejumping back and forth trying to find the documents they were asking becausetheir standard was in a different order. I will not want to go through that again. I appreciate your comments FrancisBased on the comments we will perform a risk assessment, and develop a more granulated uniform policy. It’s likely you have some existing procedures that don’t relate to a specific BRC requirement, and if you are like me, you won’t want two separate sets of procedures. I did divide my manual into sections that correspond to the standard to make it easier to correlate the procedural requirements to the standard but I can append new procedures to any section without upsetting existing pagination or numbering systems. Sao algumas acoes simples que requerem poucos minutos, mas que O gerenciador Just G3 vem dentro de um involucro (semelhante ao utilizado nos Variadores de Avanco BRC), constituido por uma caixa e por uma tampa de plastico, robusto, de dimensoes bem reduzidas e com um certo grau de hermeticidade, proprio para instalacao no compartimento do motor. A protecao de borracha (presente no chicote) para encaixe na tampa garante uma boa hermeticidade. A instalacao do gerenciador dentro do habitaculo e permitido; neste caso evitar locais pouco ventilados, por exemplo entre os estofamentos, tapetes etc. Utilizar, para fixacao, a aleta existente na propria caixa evitando outros sistemas de fixacao que possam danificar o componente; verificar finalmente que nao vibre. 2.3. As instrucoes que seguem sao de validade geral e sao indispensaveis para uma boa compreensao do sistema. 2.4.1. C O N E C TO R D E 4 POLOS PARA CONEXAO AO PC OU AO CABO DE AUTO PARAMETRIZACAO Este conector e utilizado para a parametrizacao e regulagem em funcao do sistema. Um deles e dedicado ao conector para a conexao ao atuador Step. Um segundo chicote, contem os fios necessarios para a ligacao do gerenciador. 2.4.2.1. A conexao do fio Marrom absorve pouquissima corrente, portanto pode ser ligado em qualquer positivo pos chave. E aconselhavel proteger a alimentacao neste fio com um fusivel, o usual de 7,5 A e mais que suficiente. E importante que o fio Preto seja conectado a massa motor, nao ao negativo da bateria ou a outras partes da carroceria. Visto que de um ponto a outro da massa do veiculo o potencial pode variar alguns decimos de Volt, conectando o negativo em ponto desfavoravel ha risco de interpretar erroneamente o sinal da sonda lambda. 2.4.2.3. Alimentacao do gerenciador A alimentacao do gerenciador Just G3 e fornecida pela chave de comutacao atraves do fio verde (habilitacao eletro-valvulas). O fio Verde e conectado em paralelo ao fio verde do gerenciador de controle (fig. 7). 2.4.2.4. Sinal de Rotacao do motor (rpm) O fio CINZA deve ser ligado a um sinal pulsante de frequencia proporcional a velocidade de rotacao do motor. Pode ser: - de um sinal de onda quadrada encontrado no modulo de injecao ou modulo de ignicao, desde que de amplitude suficiente. O fio CINZA deve ser ligado a um sinal pulsante de frequencia proporcional a velocidade de rotacao do motor. Pode ser tambem no fio direto do contagiro ou o fio que conecta o modulo central ao modulo de potencia da ignicao; - de um sinal proveniente do “negativo da bobina de ignicao”. O gerenciador Just G3 e capaz de reconhecer automaticamente (durante o procedimento de autoconfiguracao) se o sinal e direto, invertido ou ON-OFF. 2.4.2.5. Sinal Sonda Lambda A sonda lambda fornece geralmente um sinal compreendido entre 0 e 1 V. Esse sinal e gerenciado pelo Just atraves dos fios Amarelo e Azul. A conexao dos fios AMARELO E AZUL pode ser feita diretamente na central de injecao, ou entao pos conector da sonda. Se necessario emular o sinal sonda lambda, o esquema de ligacao e o da fig 7. Se nao necessario emular, usar como referencia fig. 8. Importante: nao curtocircuitar o fio da sonda para massa, nem para o positivo. Nao aplicar carga. Em caso de duvida, o fio do sinal sonda lambda pode ser facilmente identificado com o auxilio de um “Jolly” cod. 06LB00001086 ligado a um “Diagnostic Box” cod. 06LB00001051. Para sonda com sinal que oscila entre 0 e 1 V, utilizar Kit Just G3 cod. 06LB00001800. Para sonda com sinal que oscila entre 0 e 5 V, utilizar Kit Just G3 cod. 06LB00001801. 2.5. MONTAGEM DO REDUTOR Seguir as normas de instalacao, tendo o cuidado de fixar rigidamente o redutor a carroceria e de orienta-lo de modo que as membranas sejam paralelas ao eixo longitudinal do veiculo. Atentar para que nenhuma parte do motor bata no redutor, seja ele funcionando livre ou quando esta sob esforco. Procurar sempre instalar o redutor e o misturador de modo a reduzir o comprimento do tubo de gas. 2.7. MONTAGEM CHAVE DE COMUTACAO Tambem para a chave de comutacao valem as recomendacoes de carater geral descritas nos paragrafos 2.1. e 2.2. Utilize sempre chave de comutacao BRC em nos sistemas Just G3.A regulagem do sistema baseiase substancialmente em 2 fases distintas: - primeira aquisicao e auto configuracao dos varios sinais utilizados pelo gerenciador (TPS, sinal de rotacao, sinal lambda) e aquisicao da posicao de reset do atuador STEP; - parametrizacao emulacao sonda lambda (para instalacoes conforme fig. 7). Caixa plastica translucida 3.1. CONTROLES PRELIMINARES Terminada a fase de instalacao do sistema conforme descrito no Capitulo 2, para poder funcionar e regular o veiculo a gas, e necessaria a configuracao e parametrizacao do sistema. O primeiro passo, indispensavel para evitar graves maus funcionamentos e situacoes de perigo, fazer sempre uma verificacao cuidadosa da instalacao das partes mecanicas (cilindro, redutor, misturador, atuador Step, tubos de conexao, etc.) com o cilindro vazio. O passo seguinte consiste em introduzir alguns metros cubicos de gas no cilindro, que podem ser utilizados para verificar estanqueidade ou para efetuar o proce- “A” LED 3.2.1. INTERPRETACAO LEITURA DOS LEDS NO GERENCIADOS O gerenciador Just G3 apresenta-se numa caixa em material plastico semitransparente, isso permite a visualizacao dos tres leds presentes na placa eletronica interna (fig. 9). Os tres leds (vermelho, amarelo e verde) durante a parametrizacao podem assumir diversas condicoes de funcionamento (aceso, apagado, lampejante), para indicar especificas codificacoes das varias fases da parametrizacao. Nos paragrafos seguintes serao descritos detalhadamente a primeira forma, enquanto que para a segunda, ver o manual especifico.Se por engano o cabo de auto-parametrizacao e deixado inserido a parametrizacao antes executada nao pode ser cancelada. Para acessar novamente o ambiente de parametrizacao e necessario desconectar o cabo e executar novamente a parametrizacao completa, partindo do ponto 1. PARAMETRIZACAO DA EMULACAO LAMBDA Terminada a fase de primeira aquisicao e de auto configuracao, na seguinte partida o sistema ja esta em condicao de funcionar a gas. As parametrizacoes aqui descritas sao possiveis se o fio Azul do chicote Just G3 estiver conectado como na figura 7. O gerenciador original vem com uma configuracao emulacao de onda quadrada (fig. 21) com cerca de 50 de riqueza (fig. 22). Para modificar o tipo de emulacao Lambda, e necessario abrir a tampa da caixa e mudar a posicao do jump interno. Para emular o sinal lambda com uma onda quadrada a 50 de riqueza e suficiente instalar o gerenciador e configura-lo como descrito no paragrafo 3.3. Para regular a riqueza do sinal emulado (percental de riqueza) e suficiente intervir no trimmer (fig. 22). O trimmer permite uma regulagem linear compreendida entre o 10 e o 90. Na figura 22 e ilustrado como varia o sinal emulado ao variar a posicao do cursor no Trimmer. Entretanto, uma vez executada 11 a instalacao, pode ser necessario regular uma segunda vez a riqueza do sinal emulado. Esta operacao se torna necessaria se o veiculo funciona mal a gasolina depois de ter funcionado por um certo tempo a gas e, em particular serao notados: - regime de minimo (marcha lenta) alterado, - carburacao a gasolina muito rica ou muito pobre por varios segundos (alguns sistemas de injecao nao conseguem mais reencontrar o ponto normal de trabalho estequiometrico). - aceleracao irregular do motor do minimo ate os 2.000-3.000 rpm. Para a regulagem e necessario a utilizacao de um “Diagnostic Box” e de um “Jolly” conectados ao sinal da sonda lambda. Para a regulagem seguir o procedimento: a - O motor deve funcionar bem a gasolina. Em particular ao minimo e o motor quente, o sinal sonda lambda deve oscilar regularmente na escala central do Diagnostic Box. Se verificar algum problema contatar o Servico de Assistencia Tecnica BRC.Se, nos primeiros segundos de funcionamento com motor ao minimo e a gasolina, a carburacao aparece fixa em “pobre”, girar ligeiramente o trimmer em sentido anti-horario. Se aparecer fixa sobre “rica”, girar ligeiramente o trimmer em sentido horario.Lembrar que o problema surge dirigindo por longo trajeto a velocidade constante, como em autoestrada. Este tipo de emulacao permite de direcionar ao “Recovery” algumas centrais de gasolina e de bloquear a auto-adaptatividade durante o funcionamento a gas. A emulacao pode ser direto a massa ou a circuito aberto. 3.4.2.1. Emulacao Lambda Fixa direto a massa Nesta configuracao durante o funcionamento a gas o fio Azul vem posicionado a massa. O potencial neste fio e o mesmo retirado do fio Preto do gerenciador Just G3.
