Braun 360 Complete ManualWhile the shaver is drying, the metal parts of the shaver may be hot. Also, if the shaver is taken out prematurely and is not dry, its electronics could be harmed. Remove the shaver foil and tap it out on a flat surface. Using the brush, clean the inner area of the pivoting head. However, do not clean the shaver foil nor the cutter block with the brush as this may damage them. Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness. As the old set wore down, the shave became harder and took longer - and was more uncomfortable. The problem was that it happened so gradually, I never really noticed it. The first shave after the new blades were installed was a revelation - smooth, no pulling - just like when the razor was new (but I had forgotten about). If you have a Braun with old blades, changing them can make a huge difference in comfort and performance. Series 5 Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2016 There are a lot of posts about this item and the series 3 replacement foil and cutter. They both work on a variety of Braun shavers, and I have the 8995 model. I've had it for a decade or more I think and at one time the Series 3 replacement parts worked better than the Series 5, but the last few times I bought the series 3, it just didn't seem to be as good as I remembered. So, I bought both this time, the series 3 and series 5. I can tell no difference in the shave with either and they both are worse than what I used to get. I believe the information about the cutters now having thicker blades is probably the issue.http://dream-mebel.com/pic/briggs-and-stratton-elite-series-generator-service-manual.xml

They cutters for the 2 items appear to be identical and the blades do look thick. It still does perform really well and if I take the extra time to go over my beard multiple times, it turns out OK. However, I'm disappointed that I'll probably have to start shopping for a whole new razor soon to get the cut I desire, or just switch back to manual blades. Hope this helps others. The manufacturer commented on the review below Brittny K Bronner 2.0 out of 5 stars About six months ago the cut quality began to diminish, and it was down hill from there. The original blade lasted a few years before I felt it needed to be replaced. According to the manufacturer, you should change the blade every 18 months, so I would have expected the replacement cutter to last longer than it did. I will be buying another replacement cutter, and I hope it was just an anomaly that this one didn't last longer than it did. If it doesn't last this time, I might have to replace my Braun, which is a shame since the razor itself is excellent quality. Please try again later. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and still has 20-40 charge after 8 days of use. I even like the compact hard case it comes in.
