5) The complete display appears ) In this example the stacker TD has been chosen ) In this example, is the first bin and 7 the last bin of the set. 8) Blower, suction, overlap, speed can be set before calibration. 0) Will clear the existing job. 9 9) Start will start the setup and a calibration set is done with parameters chosen. Once calibration is done this button turns green in colour. After the calibration set, the parameters can be changed as per the user. ) Start to begin the job. PREF - This menu allows the user to work with different functions as explained. INSERT SKIP COPY 3 JUMP 7 8 COMBO 3 3 DOUBLE COVER TURBO Insert: One separator sheet is inserted after a certain pre defined number of sets. Skip: One set of job when empty will skip to another set of bins loaded with the same set allowing refilling of the empty bins and continuous productivity. Copy: A particular job in the first tower is copied to the subsequent towers in the configuration with the same bins chosen. Jump: Combination of pre defined programs in the chosen order. Combo: It is the number of sheets combined from different jobs to create a set. Double cover: For a job with heavy covers, this function allows the usage of bins for heavy covers (first bin chosen and one above) with re-loading possible on empty. Turbo: Faster collating mode while using multi towers. Accessory: See chapter 5.3.8: Choosing the accessories. MARRY CUT PAUSE Cut: Enables the change of the collating direction. Marry: This function permits insert of maximum mm ream to a set being collated or vice-versa. Pause: Stops collating for a brief moment to enable the operator to empty the accessory. SWAP Page 9-8 Swap: Forces the change of job from one set of bins to another as in Skip or Copy mode. Exclusion: In case of a particular faulty bin, it is possible to exclude it and continue normal functionning of the job. There are two different functionnal ways and position applicable to the Insert INSERT function.http://www.findvoters.com/userfiles/brady-1344-manual.xml With this option the insert sheet is sent from the first chosen bin of the job selected. With this option the insert sheet is sent from the last chosen bin of the job selected. Fast mode: The insert is sent with the last collated set. It will work with the parameters (blower, suction, speed) of the Pref menu. Separate mode: The insert is separately sent after the last collated set. Example: A job of 3 sheets coming from bins, 4, 5, 6 with an insert after 5 sets from bin 7. ) Select and confirm and n as the first and last bin respectively. - Enter the values for Blower, Suction, Overlap and motor speed. (see to chapter 6: Turbine adjustment). For the example chosen, this screen will appear. ) Select the Insert button. Now the insert button will be in orange colour. 0) - On start, in Fast mode, the calibration of Insert is done with the job. - On start, in Separate mode, the calibration of Insert and job are done differently. Note: - Insert is compatible with Copy and Double cover modes only (Except for top Insert with Double cover). - Insert is NOT compatible With Skip, Jump, Turbo, Combo, Marry and Exclusion Functions. - To remove an insert use the same procedure as before with insert value 0. - A preset (see chapter 7. Preset value) can be also chosen in addition. But must be have a value greater than the insert value. - In case of Insert present on the first bin in an additional tower, the job will not work. - By default, bottom and separate insert are the mode present. Top and fast insert will not be saved. Example: A set of 5 sheets to be collated in Skip mode: - Load 4 consecutive groups: to 5, 6 to 0, to 5, 6 to 0 with the same sheets. - So the job is from bins to 0 divided by 4. ) Program the job by selecting the first and last bin. - Adjust the Blower, Suction, Overlap and Speed settings. ) Press the Skip button. This number will divide the job in equal number of bins. 5a) Displays the value chosen. Example: - 6 sheets to be collated.http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/73140 - Load the paper at comfortable level: bins 3, 4, 5, 6 and it will be copied to the subsequent tower at the same bin level that is 3, 4, 5, 6. ) - Program the collator as if it was a normal program from 3 to 6. - Enter the values for Blower, Suction, Overlap and Motor Speed. ) Select the Copy button. It displays an orange colour. The Swap function is accessible, for further details, see chapter Attention: If the first tower does not hold the job or the job is across two towers, the job with copy will cleared automatically. CLR will clear the last choice first. Maximum 8 jobs can be selected. 4 5 Therefore in this example Copy job is executed till its preset has reached, followed by cd 6p 0x50. The machine will stop after that ) For continous flow from Copy job to Print Express and back, this button can be chosen. If chosen, it is an orange colour. 3 7) Confirm the jump operation and return to the Preference screen.Note: The job shown in the Preference menu will be the job being processed. Jump can be done only if the job has a preset value. Copy, Turbo and Exclusion modes are not compatible with JUMP. COMBO 3 3 a b c Example showing collating stitching of sheets with one tower Bin 7: 4 times, followed by Bin to 6: time, and Bin: 3 times. The Preference screen is now displayed with the Combo selection an orange colour. 7) In Pref menu, changes made in suction, blower, speed, productivity will affect all the subsets of Combo. Therefore changing of preset will modify the combo job. The preset button is orange in colour. There is no way to enter a global preset value for a Combo job. - For any changes made in step (7) must be done offline. Remarks: a - If the 3 sheets of our example (from bin ) were not identical, they would have to be pre-collated before being loaded in the same bin. This would destroy the sequence. Example: Job 3-8 and bin 3 is loaded with the heavy covers. When bin 3 will be empty, the job will take the covers from one bin above that is bin.http://experience-hr.com/images/bounty-hunter-treasure-pro-metal-detector-manual.pdf This helps in the re loading of bin 3 and keeps the production going. ) - Program the job normally before selecting the Double Cover. - Adjust the Suction, Blower, Speed and Overlap. ) Choose the Double Cover button. When selected it will display an orange colour. Note: For this option, jobs must be programmed from bin onwards. In case of the first change of Double Cover bin calibration will be done (the LED blinks) but the machine does not stop. It is recommended to start collating in a standard mode, as it is easier to find causes to problems that could arise later. Example with bins 8- chosen: Note: Turbo mode is not compatible with: One tower system and other special functions. On an emergency stop, several incomplete sets are present in the towers. In case of a stop for a miss or double, check the sets from the accessory. The chosen accessory now displays an orange colour. 3) The previous working menu is displayed, with the new change of accessory (4). 3 4 Note: It is accessible only when the machine is not in operation. For a single tower configuration, accessory chosen is not saved. UTTS accessory is not available for SBM4 and BDF. For BDF, you have a choice to stop the machine after every error or after consecutive errors (miss or double). This option is not saved on power OFF. The arrows on the bottom of the front door shows the selected direction. ) Clear the existing job. Or saved it before pressing CLR button. ) Press the Cut button. Note:- It is not possible to split a single tower in left and right direction. - Cannot be selected during collating. - In case of change of direction, belt will be automatically executed on start. It is orange in colour, when it detects the table connected physically. - Dropping the block to be married on the table is manual. The marrying function is now automated. Note: it is not possible to use a Marrying table if the left exit is installed. Marry table is operational with maximum towers.http://2girlstrippin.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/16274b07fdfd27---brother-fax-machine-super-g3-manual.pdf The collating stops for a few seconds and resumes after a beep from the collator. Note: - It is accessible during Run mode. - For Function Turbo, pause is not executed Swap function: SWAP Permits to force the change from one group being collated to another group. ) Press on the Swap button. The collator will move to the next group that is with paper in all the bins. Note: - It is accessible during collating. - Swap is available for Copy and Skip functions only. Example: For a job with bins used to 7, bins 4, 6 and 7 are found to be defective. In this case you can exclude them and the selection of bins is re-done as shown A B C D E F A B C D E F ) In the Pref menu, once the job has been defined, press the Exclusion button. ) Touch anyone of the 5 rows and enter the bin to be excluded with the help of the keypad. 3) Validate, and then press again the Exclusion button to come back to the Pref menu. 4) Adjust the paper in the new selection of bins. 3 Page 9-33 Note: Maximum 5 defective bins can be excluded in a job depending on your configuration. The Exclusion function is compatible with Copy only. Exclusion can not be saved in a job and will be removed on power OFF or CUT. Correct working of Exclusion function depends on the Overlap and number of consecutive bins not working. Validation with hte numeric keypad: Each tower must be selected in order to change the settings for Blower and Suction. Enter the value by pressing on this button. This button is used to enter the same value for all towers. This button will exit from the keypad without any changes made. When the Preset defined has reached, a beep sound is heard and the tower stops collating for a few seconds before resuming again. The collator re-starts and the above procedure repeats. This continues as long as this button is enabled. To stop the cycle press this button again. 6) When a preset is present this button displays an orange colour. When the preset has reached its value, it displays colour green.www.cn-zsm.com/d/files/compact-digital-camera-with-manual-controls.pdf If function (5) is chosen, this button stays green in colour still stop has been asked for. To go back to the previous screen, press this button. Note: - Once the preset has been chosen after the working, do not modify without a total clear of the program. - Choose the preset after programming the job. Hours Minutes This counter displays the total number of hour and minutes of the tower in working mode. This counter displays the total number of sets mode by the tower in working mode. Therefore the machine will now count the sets from the pre defined value. (For example, from here 53) 4 5 5) The value is displayed as shown. 6) The manual finishing button increments the counter by. Open button will open an existing saved file in the Preference Menu. Save is to save a job with a name and information. Delete button removes an existing saved file not wanted anymore. 8. Create a new program: ) Press this button. ) Choose one of the two collating modes to create a new program. This action is same as CLR button. The new program has no bins chosen ( n ) and the default parameters are seen in PREF menu. 8. Open an existing program: 3 ) Choose an existing file by using the arrows. ) In the middle of the screen the job characteristics of the file highlighted is displayed. 3) Press this button. The file will be opened in the Preference Menu. 4) The file name is displayed here. Kindly clear after correcting the points noted. Attention: The message Number of selected bins too high for overlap 0 means that mechanically, the height of the paper pile is too high for the machine. This message does not prevent the START of the machine. It is advisable to change the overlap value. This will automatically shut down Windows. ) The Windows screen appears. Selection is reported by blinking program window and stored at power cut-off. Helpful to eliminate double sheet feeds (crossing time) of sizes shorter than 287 mm. To skip the 5 seconds, the tower usually needs just to reset prior to resume collating after a feed interruption (detailed page 7). Restriction of the tower highest speed to the model of finishing attachment (detailed page 7). This happens when their selection is not compatible with another one (ex. The error detector does individuate the faulty bin and stops the collator but the set with the error is not necessarily the last one. - Furthermore a stop request from the finishing equipment (interlock of safety devices) would operate instantaneously and leave set fractions anywhere, without the operator being notified. PROGRAM PROG. These partial sets have to be removed prior to resume collating.JUMP As requested, two additional features are available at this stage: - A preset of the number of sets to be stitched - The delay of the shifting of the sheets to ascertain a positive picking of (heavy) sheets. The detector must be skipped accordingly. Be also aware that any double (or missfeed) in batch 2,, 0 ruins its sequence. To escape menu - To merge a ream of sheets (up to 2 mm thick) with the set being collated, on top or under this one. The synchronisation is automatic, fine tuning however is provided. - This optional mode requires a specific table that feeds from the left to the right only on which the ream is layed down by hand. Two models of tables are available: one to match BST0 ( x) one to match BST0 d ( AF) Please refer to their specific operation manual (933267). Important:these specific tables cannot fit the L.H. master tower at the same time as its left end exit ( ) tray.
