Overloading: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or inte- gral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. These floorstanding speakers combine integrated powered subwoofers with Boston-built midranges and tweeters into sleek cabinets that blend gracefully in any listening room. Separate the first few inches of the wire conductors. You may also use the “sub out” connection from your receiver to the input on the speak- er marked “sub in,”. Select “subwoofer-no” from your receiver’s set-up menu. This sends the LFE signal to the main left and right speakers. You’ll hear a dramatic change in sound. The connection that yields the fuller bass and louder sound is correct. For one year from the date of purchase, Boston Acoustics will repair for the original owner any defect in materials or workmanship that occurs in the amplifier of the VR965 or VR975, without charge for parts and labor. These floorstanding speakers combine integrated powered subwoofers with Boston-built midranges and tweeters into sleek cabinets that blend gracefully in any listening room. Both models feature high-current subwoofer amplifiers driving our long-excursion, Deep Channel Design (DCD TM ) bass units for deep, authoritative low frequencies. In addition, they both feature BassTrac TM, a proprietary new Boston-designed circuit that tracks the input signal to the subwoofer and prevents its amplifier from being driven into audible distortion. Unlike con- ventional limiters, BassTrac preserves the waveform’s shape, maintaining the fidelity of the sig- nal. The benefit: The bass stays clean and strong at any listening level. Our midrange units feature copolymer cones, butyl rubber surrounds, and a computer- optimized magnet structure for smooth, accurate midrange reproduction.http://ruxthai.com/userfiles/bower-sf829tw-flash-manual.xml

The cabinets are constructed of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), chosen for its outstanding acoustic characteristics, and have extensive internal bracing. The result is superb structural integrity that eliminates the spurious resonances and vibration that degrade the sound of ordi- nary speakers. An ecxceedingly versatile speaker for indoor or outdoor use. These tough and durable outdoor speakers feature rustproof hardware and connectors, powder-coated aluminum grilles, UV-resistant polypropylene cabinets, and are designed to withstand the harshest weather and temperature extremes. DougSo many times, I would be more than satisfied without branching out from there. Half the speakers in this hoouse (and, that includes the car parked in the garage), are either Boston Acoustics or Polk. I know I'm not in the majority of those looking for speakers right now, but there's just so few places to go near one's house, to just bring in a CD or to, and spend a morning auditioning options. I just can't do it for long. Click to expand. That research and drivers trickled down into other products, both with pretty cabinetry (VR-M50 thru VR-M90), and more practical systems (VR950). Around 2000 the formerly USA models started to be made in Malaysia.Boston also made some fine sounding component car speakers too. Watch out, Polk Audio!! My guess is she likes the escapism and in-head experience that headphone use provides. She's about to start college in a few weeks, and I casually mentioned how fun it was when I set up my hifi in the dorm room, making new friends through shared musical interest. She didn't take the bait, LOL. Her boyfriend, on the other hand, seems very interested in my hifi, but he's been too shy to come right out and ask to hear it, heh heh.Always impressed with their natural sound. They had high sensitivity and sounded far more natural than some of the competition - as long as they were driven by class AB.I have an entire 5-channel HT system of their M-Series. Currently their flagship M-350's are serving as my rear speakers. But, in an normal 5-channel set up. I would have the pair of M-350's as the front mains. Click to expand. Would love to find some open box M surrounds and center to match my set. Using their A series for surrounds and center now. Here is a last pair that this seller has. The M-Center's are scarce as hen's teeth. I am amazed that I found one. BTW, how are you liking your M-350's?Loving the M-350's! Since the beginning, I have always used towers for the rears.http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/72596 Originally, I bought a pair of Polk Monitor 60's Series II for the rear channels. With all the upgraded audio gear, I decided to box up the WF-35's and replace them with the BA M-350's, which I am totally happy with. The sound is much fuller and less harsh than the Klpsch and bigger and deeper bass too. In your system configuration, you would set the rear channel speaker's to none. So glad that you are enjoying your M-350's. When they were on final clearance, they were the best speaker deal on the planet!Hooked them up to my Decware Rachael amp and was impressed. Still won't take over the Omega 7s, but it gave them a good run for the money.BA doesn't have the market presence that it had in years past and now days was mostly selling very entry level speakers after failing to move up into the more audiophile and higher end home related speakers after the failure of their newly announced flagship M-Series several years back. Truthfully, they were just a shadow of what they were in years past. The boardroom thought that you could buy out an American company, gut the staff and sell off the assets, and have your product not just built, but designed, in China. The adhesive sets up quickly, and once it grabs hold you only have a short time to work. The repaired speaker works just like new, but at low levels there's a slight buzzing that I have to conclude was my fault in not positioning the surround perfectly. I recommend this kit, as it's much more cost effective than replacing the speaker driver. Not difficult, but requires a steady hand.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. It had a very narrow depth. It was followed by the A150 floor standing speaker and A-70. Boston Acoustics marketed these speakers to audio specialty retailers and became very respected for producing high quality sound for very reasonable prices. The chain called Tweeter, in the Boston area was one of their first and largest stores to sell them. They also produced OEM equipment which is factory-fitted to a variety of cars including Chrysler 300, Chrysler 200, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Caliber, Jeep Commander, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass vehicles. They also supplied the premium 9-speaker system in the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.Currently they maintain the brand name, but no engineering is budgeted and there is no future production planned for Boston Acoustics. Their last series included the A25 bookshelf speakers and A360 towers. As of July 2019, those are still proceeding.
